The Black Satellite who were tipped as one of the tournament favorite had to dig deep after consecutive blushes against Morocco and Gambia, drawing with the Former and losing to the latter in their group matches played in Nouadhibou.

With Africa football power houses Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Egypt failing to qualify for the tournament meant Ghana and Cameroon were the bookings favorite to win.

Cameroon however gave the Black Satellite the fire power, lifting them from the abyss after Ghana beat them in the shootout at the quarter finals.

Boah who has become Ghana’s dead ball specialist in the competition is very much endowed with progress so far made by the technical handlers and his colleague Players.
