The Director of the National Sports Authority, Prof. Peter Tsumasi has said his predecessors at the National Sports Authority will be available to cooperate if there is a need for an investigation into the Sports Authority expenditure.

The Auditor Gen. Directed has directed the NSA, to refund 180,000GH to the state. As part of a report forwarded to the Parliament of Ghana, for consideration and recommendations.

In an interview on Kingdom FM Accra with Gideon Okyere Anim (Gattuso), Prof.Tsumasi said his office is opened to probe and scrutiny, following a widespread of public perception that, the Authority for over the years become a repository of Corruption.

Debunking such perception, he said he inherited assets and liabilities from his predecessors, and has document to ascertain facts.

Prof. Tsumasi succeeded, the embattled, Robert Sarfo Mensah, who was captured in the famous Anas, expose.  Whiles Mrs. Alice Attipoe, Mr. Walanyo Aglah et a tal, have also led the sports authority in recent years.

The Auditor General’s report on the Sustainability of Sports Stadia in Ghana has revealed that Internally Generated Funds (IGF) for the year 2015-2016 for the Accra Sports Stadium and for the year 2012-2013 for the Baba Yara Sports Stadium were not accounted for by the National Sports Authority (NSA).

The audit carried out from August 2017 to December 2018 at the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Sports Authority covered the period between 2012 and 2018.
