SEX WORKERS STRANDED AFTER THEIR WORKSPACE GETS DESTROYED

More than hundred properties belonging to squatters at Abrepo Junction in Kumasi of the Ashanti Region have been destroyed .

Several structures, some of which served as homes and workspaces for squatters were brought down to nothing by some unknown persons who carried out the demolition in the early hours of Friday.

Owners of the affected companies say they were not notified to empty their structures.

Recounting on the incident, some victims explained that they only realized their shops were been pulled down on Friday morning.

Condemning the act, they described the exercise as inhumane considering the fact that they paid for their stay.

While some structures were completely destroyed in the exercise and owners looked on helplessly, some other affected persons including traders and sex workers were seen stranded with their belongings.
