Show Us The Roads You Constructed In The Green Book – Kofi Akpaloo Jabs Mahama

The Founder and leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Mr Percival Kofi Akpaloo has stated that former President John Mahama used ‘pictures’ to deceive Ghanaians that he had actually constructed roads across the country adding that deception and lies will keep the country’s main opposition, National Democratic Congress (NDC) in perpetual opposition.

He attacked the road infrastructure record of the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama’s government, describing it as a deception.

” I have the Green Book and the NDC should show us the roads they constructed in reality during their era because i can’t find the roads they constructed,” Kofi Akpaloo exclusively told Lawyer Ohene Gyan on ‘Pae Mu Ka’ on Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7

The 2020 Presidential hopeful accused the former president of being unfair to himself and his successor, President Akufo-Addo.

According to him, Mr. Mahama had enough time to complete the road project but left it to deteriorate and is now blaming President Akufo-Addo and throwing dust into the eyes of those living in the area because he wants to lead the NDC again.

He further observed that all the roads in Ghana now are in deplorable conditions.

Road infrastructure was a key campaign message in the 2016 election with the then incumbent government led by John Mahama touting road infrastructure as its biggest achievement.

The NDC government left a debt of about ¢122 billion, a chunk of it the then government claimed had been sunk into road infrastructure.

He went to say that Ghanaians should forget about both the NDC and the NPP and rather believe in the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) who are bent on transforming Ghana if voted into power in 2020.

Kofi Akpaloo advised Ghanaians to be vigilant and not succumb to the deceptive works of the erstwhile Mahama administration.
