Madina MP Supports Educational Needs Of Constituents

Minister of state who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Madina Constituency, Abu-Bakar Saddique Boniface has said he has embarked on massive Educational infrastructures development in his area since he became Member Parliament (MP) of the area.

According to him, his key focus is to get people in the constituents educated because he believes education is the backbone of every nation.

My constituency has benefited positively in the area of health, sanitation, social interventions, roads, water and social interventions but the most important of all is education, as we all know education is a road map of every developing country that I cannot deny any child of it.

He told Kwame Tutu on ‘Anopa Nkomo’ on Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7.

‘’I’ve worked hard to make sure my constituency doesn’t lose any good things especially in the area of education because education is at the heart of President Nana Addo’’ he claimed.

He admitted that,’’He has given over 200 to 500 scholarships to students, built schools in the community, helped parents acquire skills, and paid school fees to some university graduates.’’

He noted that,’’He did all this because as an MP the people in your community will come to you for help.’’

Elaborating on the major project he’s done, he said sanitation was another area we tackle in the constituency by engaging the youth every weekend on a cleanup exercise. Another thing is the roads this year were declared as our year of roads by the President so we awarded some contracts which very soon work will start on the roads. ‘’I can’t state everything I’ve done and still doing in my constituency’’ he noted.
