John Boadu Jabs NDC After IPAC Meeting

The General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party, John Boadu has thrown a jab at the opposition NDC over their claims that IPAC never discussed the CI amendment that excludes voter ID card from the registration process.

He stated that, “the minutes that was present to members of IPAC clearly shows that, they discussed issues of the CI amendment which is an opposite what he NDC were alleging.’’

The NPP to scribe was speaking to the media on the sidelines of an Inter-Party Advisory Committee meeting held at the Electoral Commission on Wednesday.

Mr Boadu called on the NDC to come out and render and unqualified apology to the entire nation and the commission as well for peddling falsehood.

Some of the parties that were present at the meeting such as Independent Presidential Candidate, Jacob Osei Yeboah, Akua Donkor of Ghana Freedom Party and James Kwabena Bonfe of CPP also spoke with the media as they welcome the EC’s decision to compile a new register.

As part of the measures to ensure Ghanaians comply with the strict protocols during the compilation of the new voters’ register at various polling stations, the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) has outlined some strict protocols to be adhered to in preventing the spread of the Coronavirus.
