It’s exactly two years today Dancehall Queen Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, known as. Ebony Reigns passed in a gory accident at Mankranso in the Ashanti Region.
Popular dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns who was admired by many passed on Thursday dawn February 8th after returning from a trip.
She didn’t die alone but unfortunately, her longtime friend Franklina Yaa Nkansah Kuri and soldier Atsu Vondee who was given them protection throughout the journey also passed on in the fatal accident. The only survivor of the fatal crash was the driver.
The Queen affectionately called “Nana Hemaa” could be remembered by her popular songs like “Kupe”, Poison, Sponsor, and Maame Hwe.
The dancehall artist was named Artist of the Year at the 2018 Ghana Music Awards held at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The late musician Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng became the first woman to win the ultimate accolade at the event.
Her album Bonyfied also won ‘Album of the Year’, and her song Sponsor won ‘Afro Pop song of the year.
