Ghanaian gospel musician has spoken of her ‘vulnerable’ early years in the music industry, saying she was hit on by producers who only wanted to sleep with her before investing in her music.
The musician first found fame with hit songs such as Suspect, Kurom Aye De, Sima Biaa, Nkomhye, Wahendzi, Halleluyah and Agyenkwa Yesu and has worked with artistes such as Obaapa Christy, Brother Sammy and many others .
Speaking about why her songs weren’t popular she indicated most of the producers she met wanted to sleep with her but she refused because she is not an object of desire .
She told Fiifi Pratt on Accra-based Kingdom Plus 101.9FM, that some producers tried to make her feel like a sexual object but she refused and didn’t give up on her dreams.
According to Didier ,her own experiences has made her stronger and a better person now .
