Ever since the missionary era, Christianity has had a positive impact on the socio-cultural arena throughout Africa. Now, however, there is a worrying sense that certain practices are chipping away at its historic moral credibility and public strength.
Hiplife musician, Kwaw Kese has added his voice to the allegations of fake pastors and prophets rocking churches in Ghana.
According to the outspoken musician, most of the pastors and prophets in Ghana today are using the name of Jesus to enrich themselves whereas their church members remain poor.
He told Fiifi Pratt on Accra based Kingdom Plus 101.9 FM that, he stopped going to church because of a pastor who tried to outsmart him with a fake prophecy.
Kwaw indicated most of the pastors we see today are fake hence have not been called by God.
The Madtime CEO further mentioned he prefers worshipping God in his own house than to go to a church.
