Let’s Stay At Home – Opare Ansah Urges Ghanaians

The Member of Parliament for Suhum, Frederick Opare Ansah, has advised Ghanaians to comply with preventive measures in an attempt to curb the spread of coronavirus epidemic.

He stressed that, this is also the most proven method worldwide in the fight against the virus.

“As we speak if the regional cases rise rapidly, President Akufo Addo has no option than to lockdown Eastern Region, lockdown Central Region, lockdown all the other regions just as he has lockdown Greater and Accra and Kumasi so we all have the responsibility to help contain this pandemic and reduce the spread to avoid total lockdown which will affect everyone.”

“I am pleading with you not to abuse interventions rolled by our President Akufo Addo to Cushion Ghanaians in this difficult time. President says water is free for three months that doesn’t mean we should waste water because it’s free. We must also respect every directive of the President on combating COVID-19 to the later. The Coronavirus Pandemic should not be capitalized to profiteer.”

He thus called on all Ghanaians to help the government in these trying moments.

He said, Ghanaians must stick to the precautionary measures touted by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the government in the quest to get rid of the deadly disease.
