The Executive Director (Ag) of the Ghana Museums and Monuments Board, Ofosu Ntiamoah Kingsley has said government is working hard to promote tourism through the Ghana museum, adding that President Nana Addo and the NPP is committed to make tourism attractive to all.

Tourism is a tool to attract investors into the country and to make them invest into business that can bring development into the country.

He said all the  museums in the country would soon be going under construction, this he believes  the one key goal is to curate and tell the story of Africa using African voices, tools and culture.

Adding that, the great minds behind the constructions of museums is  necessary because it is the only way to showcase our culture to the whole world.
”He argues that when someone else tells your story, they tell it from their perspective so that they look good”.

”It’s at the heart of our President Nana Addo, to make tourism numbers on our GDP” so as people we can all support the president and Ghana Museums and Monuments Board to make it possible” he noted.

Speaking on ‘‘Accra-Based Kingdom FM Anopa Nkomo” stated that the government cannot do the construction and make the museum look more attractive but it’s the responsibility of all Ghanaian, individuals, corporate institutions among others to come to the aid of the Ghana Museums and Monuments Board.

”We want to make Ghanaian feel the tourism experience, that is the reason we are urging all Ghanaian to visit the museums and see things for themselves adding that today museum is not like before where you don’t see anything, he said today the museum has a great stories of our great past leaders”.

He therefore calls on Ghanaian’s to help promote our culture by wearing our made in Ghana clothes, eating our local foods, when we do this as Ghanaian’s together we are all protecting and promoting our culture.
