Christians often talk about the physical and the spiritual implications of debt as if they are two separate realities but they are connected.

Founder of Universal Spiritual Outreach, Bishop Kwabena Boakye Asiamah also known as Ajagurajah has advised Ghanaians to flee from debts or be ready to face the spiritual consequence that comes with it .

According to the spiritual leader, many people are suffering in life because of the debt they owe people.

In an interview with Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom Plus 101.9 FM’s Afro Joint, he said people shouldn’t compartmentalize their financial management from their spiritual life.

“Debt will make you feel poorer than you are” he added.

Ajagurajah indicated that, debt can create dissonance and it is another factor that needs to be taken into account when you feel led to meet someone else’s need.

He further mentioned even though debt is not necessarily bad in itself, there are dangers spiritual implications associated with it.
