Mrs Freda Prempeh, the Member of Parliament MP for Tano North Constituency has indicated that she is bent on building 100 boreholes after constructing 50 mechanized boreholes at the cost of GH¢20, 000.00.

She disclosed that, the main purpose of the project is to provide potable drinking water for deprived communities in the Tano North Constituency.

The Deputy Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection stressed that, the massive borehole project has brought rapid relief to the people in the constituents.

She told Okatakyire Obeng Mensah on ‘Anopa Nkomo’ Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7.

“I have completed 50 boreholes but my target is to build 100 boreholes for the people in my constituents.’’  

  Mrs Freda Prempeh added that,’’ Tano North is fortunate to enjoy the ongoing electrification, portable water, education fund, community health planning services, national health insurance registration which is underway as well as opening up of the linking roads in the constituency.’’

The beneficiary communities are Bredi, Abuom, Yamfo, Asukese, Bomaa, Subonpan, Manponteng, Campso, Tweaho, Susuanso, Afrisipakrom, Adongo, Tanoso, Ansen and Duyaw-Nkwanta.

She encouraged the people of the area to vote massively to retain President Akufo-Addo led NPP government in power in other to continue enjoying the various initiatives policies of the government including the free senior school, planting for food, school feeding amongst other.
