Mahama Made ‘Do Or Die’ Comment Because He’s Desperate …
The founder and leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo, says former President John Mahama’s recent comments on the 2024 elections are unfortunate.
He believes the former President has a premeditated plan in his desperation to return to power.
During his ‘Thank You’ tour, John Mahama reiterated his suspicion on Tuesday, September 7, that; “we were clearly robbed, but we accepted the verdict for the sake of peace.”
“But I want to state here that the next elections would be won or lost at the polling station. So at the polling station, it will be ‘do or die’. I am not saying ‘all die be die’. I’m saying it will be ‘do or die’ because the right thing must be done,” he told Techiman-based Akina FM.
Kofi Akpaloo said that the utterance indicates panic in the camp of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) over their chances in the upcoming polls.
In the view of Kofi Akpaloo, Mr Mahama has no alternative solutions in addressing the problems faced by Ghanaians and must not be given a chance to return to the office.
He said Mr Mahama is “only seeking refuge in semantics and grammar… struggling to explain the impossibility,” Kofi Akpaloo told Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7
