The board Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak, Togbe Afede XIV has labeled Coach Samuel Boadu, the new Hearts gaffer as a man of integrity and someone looking for an opportunity, and Hearts of oak as a club offers the coach such an opportunity.

Boadu joins Hearts from Medeama after leaving the Tarkwa based Club last week.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, the board chairman is optimistic that the three and a half year deal, will surely change the current state of the club due to the fact that he has been in admiration of the Club for a longer time

“We see him as a man of integrity who is looking for an opportunity, one which Hearts is able to provide him. The board is very confident that we have gotten the right person.”

“Our desire for him did not arise after the departure of Papic, he has been our long term target, and the good news is that Hearts has been his long term target as well,” he assessed.

The three-and-a-half-year deal should see him restore Hearts back to the Africa Interclub competition i.e. CAF Champions League and Confederation Cups.
