The immediate past Member of Parliament for Buem constituency, Daniel Kwesi Asiamah has joined calls by Ghanaians for the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government to resolve the nation’s issues.

Under the rallying call #FixTheCountry, Ghanaians online took the Akufo-Addo-led government to task by outlining the various issues slowing the growth of Ghana, and its effects on citizens.

The former law maker stated that he supports the cause, not for political reasons, but because he believes in the vision of the pressure campaign.

“The same way I am for #FixTheCountry now is the same way I will be in 2024 when the NDC comes to power and IF things are not going on well as a country. This country needs to move forward! It’s Ghana first! #FixTheCountry,” Daniel Kwesi Asiamah exclusively told Reynold Agyemang on ’Pae Mu Ka’ on Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7

Some unhappy Ghanaians are venting their spleens over what many describe as a failure on the part of successive governments to improve the lives of the citizenry.

Dominant in the sentiments shared on Twitter are rising youth unemployment, dilapidated health system, skyrocketing home-renting structure, poor road networks among others.
