The family of Kwesi Hankson, 34, who was slapped by Afia Schwarzenegger during her father’s burial, has demanded that the comedienne compensate her or give a public apology immediately or face their wrath.
On behalf of the family, Kwesi’s two younger sisters have given Afia a three-day deadline to rehabilitate their brother’s image, which is currently on ‘life support.’
They expressed their displeasure in an interview with Oheneba Channel, saying that their brother had been reduced to a laughingstock in his community.
Their brother, they claim, seldom steps out of his room for fear of being taunted.
“We’ve given Afia Schwarzenegger three days to apologize or reimburse my brother, or we’ll take legal action.” It was an embarrassment for her to do what she did. My brother is now unable to leave the house. Because his image has been damaged, he is confined to his room.”
I was in excruciating pain when I saw the video. My brother has a strong personality, but he chooses to overlook some things on occasion. In my family, we have been taught that good manners are crucial and that everyone, regardless of age, should be respected. Overall, I’m glad he didn’t retaliate since now it’s all on her. We are not going to allow her get away with assaulting our brother. Afia has given it her all.”
“In Ghana, everything revolves around the concept of connectedness. She is an expert in her field.
