Talented, out-spoken and controversial, emerging Ghanaian recording artiste, Ms. Forson has advised upcoming musicians to seek the face of God in whatever they do especially when entering into the arts sector.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Londona on Accra based Kingdom FM 107.7’s Entertainment Arena talk show, the sultry singer bemoaned the rampant increase of sexual harassment in showbiz.
Using herself as an example, she claimed to have had several encounters with people who pose as managers but would rather “manage” her body instead of the talent she brings to the table. She explained to the Londona that due to her curvy nature, it’s very difficult for potential managers to concentrate solely on her music and brand without wanting an amorous relationship in return.
“If you’re in a relationship with your manager and an investor wants to talk to you he will say no because he is jealous,” she said.
Answering how she is able to overcome the continues temptations and sexual pressures from the industry folks, the ‘Libido’ composer stated that “the only thing I do when I find myself in that situation is to pray”.
She also advised artistes like herself to keep their heads up and push harder till they achieve big success.
Ms Forson is currently signed unto Black Avenue Music owned by businessman Desmond Blackmore.
