Minority Blasts National Security Operatives For Rambo-Style …

The Minority in Parliament has criticize the unprofessional attitude of National Security Operatives who arrested Prophet Kwame Owusu Agyei for allegedly threatening to kill the Electoral Commission (EC) Chairperson Jean Mensa.

The 56 year old “man of God” had in his possession, a big quantity of ‘Indian Hemp’ (weed) when he was arrested by a joint force made up of the CID and National Security at his residence near the Greda Estates on the Spintex Road in Accra on Tuesday.

But the Minority Spokesperson on Defence and Interior, James Agatha has condemned the rambo-style arrest of the pastor.

“These are worrying times for the country. I think the government has chosen a certain path which is aimed at intimidating people who speak out in protest against the dangerous path that they have chosen to take all of us.

“Therefore as the Minority, we want to, in no uncertain terms condemn and denounce the actions of the Security Operatives who effected the arrest of the Apostle yesterday” he stated.

“There appears to be some amount of selectivity when it comes to dealing with matters of this nature,” he said.
