Five Suspects In Kafaba Lynching Case To Face Court Tomorrow

Information reaching Kingdom FM indicates that, the CID team from the homicide unit dispatched to the Savannah region and its counter parts in the region have been able to arrest Issifu Tanko, Issifu Sachibo, Sulleymana Ali, Shiabu Muntala and Haruna Aness in connection with the barbaric murder of 90-years-old Mariama Akua Denteh.

Reports indicates that, all five people have told the police during interrogations that, “the Chief of Kafaba warned them to stop the act of lynching and if they do not stop and anything happens they should not come to him”.

They have also told the investigators that the priestess used three days for the said rituals and on the third day because of the severe beatings and torture the old woman passed out.

The five suspects arrested are the people who invited the priestess to Kafaba while others also went to the old woman’s house to drag her to where she was lynched all in the name of been a witch.

Kingdom FM investigation has revealed that the five suspects would be arraigned before the Damongo district court tomorrow.

Also Kingdom FM investigations and sources indicates that the alleged priestess seen in the video whipping the deceased, Teacher Aliu, Sanja and the step grand daughter Bumaye are on the run and believed to be hiding around the Afloa border.
