A/R: Farmer,20, Murdered At Mfensi

A 20-year-old Poultry farm attendant identified as Emmanuel Tabiri has allegedly been murdered at Mfensi in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti region.

According to reports, the incident occurred at his poultry farm on Tuesday July 28.

The Assembly Member of the area, David Kojo Owusu-Ansah made this known in an interview with Kingdom FM‘s reporter Antwi Boasiako.

Recounting on the incident, Kojo Owusu-Ansah said, even though the cause of his death is unknown, he suspects the deceased was murdered by  some unknown armed men who stormed the area Monday July 27.

He said, “I received calls from some residents this morning that they heard a gunshot last night, therefore they suspect the deceased might have been killed by the alleged armed robbers”.

He indicated that the area has been a hub for armed robbery for some time now , further he called on the Ghana Police Service to beef up Police patrols in the area.

Meanwhile, the Atwima Nwabiagya District Police Command has commenced investigations into the incident.
