As part of the government’s effort to strengthen and make Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutions attractive and enviable, the Deputy Minister of Education in Charge of TVET, Hon. Gifty Twum Ampofo has assured all schools of the government’s continuous support.
She said, the government has invested heavily in TVET and the current TVET is being done across the world including Ghana.
The Abuakwa North Constituency MP in the Eastern Region, Hon. Gifty Twum Ampofo said the whole world has moved to the digital and electronic system and that everything manufactured must be of standard to attract buyers.
Speaking at the visitation and inspection of some TVET facilities in the Eastern Region, she admonished parents whose children have an interest in the TVET to be encouraged since they can achieve a PhD in TVET.
The Deputy Education Minister visited St. Paul Technical Institute in Kukurantumi, St, Mary’s Technical Institute in Adeemra-Donkorkrom, St. Joseph Technical Institute in Fisheries Amankwakrom , Agric Technical Institute and Abetifi Technical Institute.
