Former Flagbearer hopeful and a communication member of the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Stephen Atubiga has admitted that by the constitution of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Addo is the mandated President of the Republic of Ghana even though the NDC as a Party hold contrary view to what his Presidency even after the Supreme Court upheld his electoral victory after the Election Petition hearing.

Speaking in an interview on Kingdom FM’s ‘PAE MUKA’ with Reynold Agyeman, in relation to the President 77th Birthday celebration on Monday, the embattled NDC communicator noted with great eulogies the fact that the President has come a long way in his Political career, and still feel he has something to offer in his final term in office, asking God to grant him abundance health.

‘’We the NDC as a party don’t accept the Supreme Court’s verdict and continue with our agitations and disapproval, but Constitutionally he is the President of Ghana, so for now I will address him as such’’.

Stephen Atubiga was officially suspended by the NDC National executive last week, making it the second high profile NDC member to be suspended after Koku Anyidohu who received is suspension for allegedly going against the Parties statuses.

Meanwhile Former Central Regional Chairman of the NDC, Mr. Allotey Jacob has been dismissed by the NDC.
