Kwame A-Plus, an entertainment commentator, has defended Michael Owusu Afriyie, a professional teacher who also happens to be a comic creator.
Teacher Kwadwo, a prominent comic skit writer, stated yesterday that he had been sacked from his employment as a teacher by the Ghana Education Service. He, on the other hand, refused to provide the cause for his firing, which was started in his dismissal letter.
Going down memory lane, the supporting teacher spent most of this year fighting and exposing the rot in the teaching industry, as well as the problems the sector faces, such as a lack of suitable infrastructure and other multitudes of challenges.
It’s possible that the well-liked instructor was fired because of his “anti-GES” activities. Because GES is a conservative institution, several of these actions of activism are frowned upon and may be classified as indisciplined.
A person has expressed sympathy for Teacher Kwadwo in a Facebook post, calling his dismissal as a possible witch-hunt stemming from his activism against educational issues.
He recalled how, during the John Mahama era, the same Teacher Kwadwo made some nasty things, but no one addressed him.
