With her famous song, ‘Forever,’ a young woman transformed into a superstar overnight earlier this year. Gyakie also tells those who doubted her ability to make it in the music industry that she never forgets what others have said about her.

Gyakie admitted that she was aware of individuals who predicted the end of her career during an interview with Giovani Caleb on Showbiz 360. And she has no intention of forgetting it any time soon.

“I’ve seen a couple of them.” I have receipts, of course. When I hear someone say something negative about me, I always keep them. There’s this thing that I’ve begun to do. I snap a screenshot and save it to my computer. Because you know you’ll always have something to say in the future.”

Although some people collect receipts to stoke resentment toward criticism, Gyakie stated that her motivation was to improve herself as a person. She added that these invoices motivate her to strive for greater success.

Gyakie released four collaborations in November, and she topped Twitter chats in 2021 with the most liked female musician tweet. She also became Ghana’s most-streamed musician and Nigeria’s most Shazamed tune.
