Ghana’s government, according to Martha Ankomah, is to blame for the country’s underdevelopment.

The actress compared Ghana to Dubai, which has just oil but has yet managed to become one of the world’s top countries.

Martha Ankomah expressed her disappointment in Ghanaian officials during an interview with Accra FM, citing the United Arab Emirates, which has only oil and is far behind Ghana, which has gold, cocoa, oil, bauxite, and other resources.

“Our challenge is leadership, not just among Ghanaian politicians, but throughout Africa.” The issue is one of leadership. If Dubai simply extracts oil and manages to build its country. Ghana, on the other hand, has been blessed with all resources, including oil. Despite this, we are impoverished.

“There will be no need for other countries to borrow money from Ghana since it is quite concerning,” she stated her concern.

She went on to say that Ghana will only be a better place if the country’s leaders, who sit in their V8s with their bottoms cushioned, change their attitudes and take on the true responsibility of leadership.

“Ghana has everything on this planet, but our difficulty is leadership.” And Ghana would be a better place to be if our leaders changed their minds and developed a love for the country.
