An Accra High Court in Accra has denied an appeal filed by Rosemond Alade Brown a.k.a. Akuapem Poloo which sought to dispute the 90-day jail term issued to her by the Accra Circuit Court on April 16, 2021.

The actress’s sentence was not patently excessive, according to the court, which was presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey.

As a result, the actress will continue to serve her sentence imposed by the Circuit Court.

“This court will not intervene, and hence the appeal is dismissed,” Justice Aryee stated.

In the event that the convict is not there, the court ordered that her son be given to any family member who is capable of caring for him.
