Gov’t To Expand Health Facilities To 6 New Regions – Health Minister


The Minister of Health, Dr. Kwaku Agyeman Manu has stated that government is committing funds to expand health facilities and hospitals in the newly created six regions in Ghana.

He stated that his Ministry is working hard to seeing to it that, the various new regions get better healthcare facilities as part of the government’s effort in offering better healthcare services to Ghanaians.

The Minister was speaking at the Induction Ceremony of 378 Medical and Dental Doctors in honor of the 2nd Chairman of the Medical and Dental Council, Dr. Emmanuel Evans-Anfom which was held in Accra.

Dr. Agyeman Manu noted that Ghanaians need better healthcare delivery as enshrined in the constitution thus the government’s decision to protecting the lives of Ghanaians who fall sick.

He, therefore, added that government is working hard to improve on the condition of service of doctors who are serving the country to enable the work diligently.
