Chairman for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo has been granted bail after he appeared before the Accra High Court on Tuesday morning.
Ofosu-Ampofo was admitted to bail in the sum of GHC100, 000 with two sureties. Kweku Boahen who has been charged with conspiracy to cause harm and assault against a public officer following a leaked tape has also been granted bail the same amount with one surety.
Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, was allegedly caught in leaked audio purported to be the voice of Mr. Ofosu-Ampofo in a meeting with NDC hierarchy.
The Accra High Court has adjourned the case to Monday 6th May 2019 for hearing.
